I’m a beginner, can I join a Wild Camping journey? Our wild camping adventure is aimed at those that have little, some or good experience in wild camping. Most importantly it’s aimed at everyone has a thirst for getting into the greater outdoors and those looking for a unique and beautiful wild camping experience. Weather could be cold windy and maybe wet, it could also be clear, sunny and magical during the year. The attendee will be required to be flexible, positive attitude and carry their personal backpack equipment (sometimes heavy) over undulating hilly Cotswolds for the duration of the weekend. Day hiking experience necessary.

• Do I need my own tent, backpack and sleeping bag? No. Walk Wild has an selection of equipment at low cost to fill in the gaps you need equipment wise. Click here to see what you can hire. Limited, first come first served.

• Do I need my own Map and Compass for Walk Wild Navigation Skills Days? No, Walk Wild supplies everything you need for the day - Map and Compass.

• Can I bring dogs on walks and wild camps? Yes! First and foremost we have to be respectful to landowners, livestock and other members when it comes to dogs on our events. We kindly ask the dog to be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

• Is Foraging on the Walk Wild calendar? As of May 2022 we will be hosting our own, bespoke foraging walks for the Walk Wild community.
