Walking the Gower Peninsula, Wales
The Gower Peninsula is one of the UK’s most beautiful hiking destinations, renowned for its rugged coastline, wild moors, sandy beaches, and dramatic cliffs. On this two-day guided hiking adventure, you’ll explore the very best of the region with two breathtaking 12-mile coastal walks. Combined, these routes create one of the most beautiful coastal walking journeys in Wales, showcasing the wildest and most scenic areas of the Gower Peninsula.
During the weekend, we’ll stay in a private, secluded bunkhouse nestled among pine forests on the remote northern tip of the peninsula. This exclusive accommodation, close to quiet forest beaches, will serve as our HQ for the entire trip. After a day of hiking, relax by the fire with cooked meals or enjoy a well-earned pub dinner nearby.
This unique Walk Wild experience includes small group sizes (max 10 people), making it personal, friendly, and unforgettable.

How will i know if the difficulty of route is suitable for me?
Please Note: This weekend is best suited for those with hiking or regular walking experience. The route covers approximately 10.5 miles each day over two days, with hilly, uneven, and occasionally rugged terrain. It’s a rewarding and achievable challenge for those prepared, and if you’ve walked and completed the Seven Sisters in the South of the UK ( or something similar - think 3 peaks, West Highland Way) you’ll find the level of difficulty and undulation similar.
We kindly ask that all participants ensure they are fit and ready for this type of walk. While we’ll do our best to support anyone who encounters difficulties, Walk Wild cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from lack of preparation or fitness, including the need to withdraw. Thank you for understanding!
