Located in Tring, Hertfordshire just outside of London our introduction to Night Navigation Workshop is aimed at enabling outdoor enthusiasts and hillwalkers to effectively and confidently navigate themselves at night and/or in poor conditions.

• Workshops conducted on a Friday evening 6pm - 9:30pm

• Most of the evening will be in complete darkness. Head torches with fresh batteries encouraged.

• Subjects covered: Walking on a bearing, accurate timing and route finding

• Please bring snacks, water and a flask of hot tea or coffee.

• Please bring own compass although not essential. Maps and compasses can be provided.

• Workshop starts and finishes at Tring Station (No toilets at station)

• Join us in a group or use a night navigation workshop as part of your one to one two day navigation package.

Note: This night time course is for those that have completed either our one day Navigation Workshop or one of our One to One Navigation Workshops, or have previous Map and Compass Skills experience.
