If so! Join us for our annual complimentary Christmas Walk. Our gorgeous Christmas route begins in Shalford, passing the beautiful Shalford Mill before climbing up onto the North Downs. We’ll visit the stunning hilltop at Martha’s Church (pictured at sunset), then continue through deep, enchanting woodlands before descending into the chocolate-box village of Shere — famously featured in the Jude Law and Kate Winslet film “The Holiday.”

Here, you can enjoy a complimentary drink from the Walk Wild team before we head out for the final stretch, finishing at the iconic 11th-century Gomshall Mill pub, where the River Tillingbourne flows right beneath the building. From there, it’s a short walk to Gomshall Station and your journey home — possibly in the peaceful winter darkness.
