Woodlands and Canal Walk - 15 miles (25km)

£25.00

Join us on this stunning guided nature walk of 15 miles from Cuffley to Hertford just a 35 minute train journey from central London. Starting in the sleepy village of Cuffley, Herts the beginning of this route encapsulates incredible and meandering trails that weave through quiet and dense Birch, Beech and Pine woodlands of Broxbourne, Hoddesdon and Hertford Heath. These woodlands are some of the quietest and wildest woodlands Hertfordshire has to offer, home to roaming row deer and muntjac. Our paths dissect them following streams and up onto the high meadows before dropping into historic town of Ware to follow the gorgeous River Lea canal all the way into the rustic and beautiful town of Hertford. Once finished here we travel together on the local train back two stops to Cuffley to the awaiting vehicles or further trains home.
